Though Ida Mae may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ida Mae leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vaniel Beard and Myrtle Rayburn Thompson Beard; and her brother Robert Lee Beard. She is survived by: her sisters, Jane Speight of Pineland and Mary Covington of Royse City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation (Attn: Donor Services, 3540 Crain Highway Suite 675, Bowie, MD 20716) or the Craniofacial Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
