She was predeceased by: her parents, Medford and Belle; and her siblings, Bobby Whisenant, Ferrell Whisenant, Buddy Whisenant, Virginia Nelson and Mollie Sowards.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell of Pilot Point, TX; her children, Ricky Shearer of Pilot Point, TX, Jackie Allen (Rick) of Valley View, TX and Marian Shearer of Denton, TX; her sister Evelyn Hoffman of Bedford, TX.; and also Kathy Shearer of Pilot Point, TX. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
