He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard MacElroy and Jennie MacElroy (Pearson); and his brother Bruce MacElroy. He is survived by: his wife Debbie of Pilot Point, TX; his children, Dean MacElroy (Lezlie) of Lake Kiowa, TX, Kathy Jensen (Greg) of Florissant, CO, Susan Hulsey of Hurst, TX and Joanne Knight (Scott) of Aubrey, TX; and his siblings, Jim MacElroy of Chelmsford, MA and Kaye Friday of Old Lyme, CT.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pilot Point First United Methodist Church (217 S Church St, Pilot Point, TX 76258).
