It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mai Leavitt of Pilot Point, Texas, born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer P. Marlin and Mamie Marlin (Adams); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Sam, Clyde Marlin and Peggy Marlin.
She is survived by: her sons, George Leavitt of Montrose, CO, Billy Leavitt (Debi) of Pilot Point, TX and John Leavitt (Denise) of Bergheim, TX; her grandchildren, Mason, Jordan, Taylor, Austin, Teshana, Tyrel, Teal, Lulu and Alex; her sisters, Virginia Puckett of Murfreesboro, TN and Ronda Bratton of Nashville, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Marlin and Joan Leavitt. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
