He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Alice; and his wife Lena Beth. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Hedrick (Thomas) of Collinsville, TX and Brandy L. Chandler of Denton, TX. He is also survived by six nieces and two nephews; several great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
