She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Ollie Thompson and Gertrude Wilson Thompson; her husband Lawrence Swanson; and her sons, David Leon Swanson and Gary Lee Swanson.
She is survived by: her sons, Lanoy Swanson (Kathy) of Sulphur Springs and Mike Swanson (Nancy) of Pickton; and her brother Ricky Thompson (Joyce Oyster) of Como. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
