He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin E. Rose and Alma B. Pugh Rose; his brothers, Robert Rose and Carl Wayne Rose; and his son-in-law Bo Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Rose; his children, Roger Rose (Roberta) and Jennifer Rock; his stepdaughters, Krista Peterson (Maurice) and Shannon Brewer; his siblings, Troy Rose and Faye Holcomb; his grandchildren, Kelby Galloway, Sara Rose, Brady Rose, Cassidy Rose, Katie Kinworthy, Amanda Sharber and Brinley Rock; and his great grandchildren, Kyler Kinworthy, Sailee Kinworthy and Liam Sharber. He is also survived by other extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Pickton Cemetery.
