Velia G. Garcia Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velia G. Garcia (Pharr, Texas), who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mateo Garcia and Maria Ignacia Flores of Pharr, Texas.; and her sister Maria Ernestina Garcia (Dore Garcia). She is survived by: her husband Doroteo Garcia (Dore); her children, Norma Nelia Reyes of Edinburg, Lynda Jo Liscano (Arturo) of Austin, Lisa Anna Hernandez (Ismael) of McAllen, Diana Marie Chavez (Arnoldo) of San Antonio and Mateo Garcia (Maria Elena) of Hidalgo; and her siblings, Antonio Garcia of Pharr and Maria Mozella Sandoval (Linda) of Pharr. She is also survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
