She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Luis Perez and Luz Quinones; her husband Rufino Garcia; and her siblings, Luis Morales, Dagoberto "Beto" Morales, Maria "Nena" Gonzales, Eva Medina, Ninfa Ybarra and Maria Elvira "Vera" Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Rufino Garcia, Jr. (Maria D.), Rebecca Linda Smith (Robert F.), Lydia Elizabeth Garcia (Bruce M.), Robert Lewis Garcia (Monica) and John Michel Carey (Brenne Nicole). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
