He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Hinojosa Palacios; and his son Jose Luis Palacios. He is survived by: his children, Irma Trevino (George) of San Juan, Rosa Salazar (Francisco) of San Benito, Rolando Palacios (Sonia) of Edinburg, Blanca Alicia Palacios of San Juan and Arnoldo Palacios (Mary) of McAllen; and his sister Lupita Palacios Martinez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
