He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Solis and Cristina Solis; and his brother Robert Solis. He is survived by: his wife Emma P. Solis of Pharr; and his children, Ruben F. Solis, Jr. (Bernadette) of Mission, Ofelia S. Guerra (Roel) of El Sauz and Diana Lisa S. Morales (Victor) of Comfort, TX. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
