He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Benavidez and Alejandra Cantu; his wife Carmen Segura; and his children, Roel Jr., Esequiel and Blanca.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeraria. A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
