He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Yzaguirre and Maria Agustina Yzaguirre; his former wife Elvira Ofelia Yzaguirre; his siblings, Felipe Benavides, Pedro Yzaguirre, Francisco Yzaguirre Jr., Josefa Munivez, Maria Guadalupe Salinas and Maria Magdalena Olivares; and his grandson Rolando Lugo.

He is survived by: his wife Luby Ramon of Weslaco, TX; his children, Yolanda Leger (Rene Leger), Maria Augustina (Juan Hinojosa), Elvira (Pablo Muniz III), Roberto Yzaguirre (June Vieira), Rina Yzaguirre, Marissa (Herman Ybarra) and Haydee (Luis Gonzalez); his grandchildren, Catherine (Kirk Saenz), Thomas (Leslie McGuinness-Monclova), Monica Orton, Linda Hinojosa, Kristina Hinojosa, Marco Castillo, Amanda (Randy Tapia), Robert Yzaguirre, Erika Yzaguirre, Bobby (Leeana Ybarra), Michael Ybarra, Adrian (Aissa Ybarra), Marleyna Lugo, George Perez, Ozzy Rios and Ana Rios; his great grandchildren, Margaret (Brian Hadley), Ophelia McGuinness-Monclova, Octavian McGuinness-Monclova, Carlos Parson, Eliana Orton, Lydia Orton, David Flores, LeeAnn Alaniz, Daniel Hinojosa, Alexander Tapia, Vivienne Tapia, Lanie Ybarra, Layla Ybarra, Teddy Lugo and Benji Perez; and his great great grandchildren, Charles Hadley, Henry Hadley and Everett Hadley.
