He was predeceased by: his parents, Modesto Soto and Luz Soto; and his sister Letty Soto. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ysidra Soto; his children, Ricardo Soto Jr. (Nellie), Esteban Soto (Maria) and Virginia Soto (Jonathon) of Mata; and his siblings, Arnulfo, Modesto Jr., Rosalinda and Yolanda. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
