He was predeceased by: his wife Evelia G. Rodriguez; his son Reyes Rodriguez Jr.; his parents, Benita Flores and Nemesio Rodriguez; and his siblings, Valeriano Rodriguez, Celia Zamarripa and Clara Flores.
He is survived by: his children, Evelia Hinojosa (Eduardo Sr.), Benita Alvarado (Felipe Sr.), Maribel Hernandez, Roberto Rodriguez Sr. (Veronica) and Rodolfo Rodriguez (Monica); his daughter-in-law Ana R. Estrada; his sisters, Lydia Coronado and Rosa Anzaldua; and his pet Skippy. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
