He was predeceased by: his father Juan Antonio Bermea; and his brother Antonio Bermea. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Maria Bermea of Pharr; his children, Carlos Manuel Bermea of Pharr, Alexis Michelle Bermea of Pharr, Roxann Valle (Aaron) of California, Angela Alcala of California, Roxanne Ramirez (Miguel Aguilera) of McAllen, Robert Anthony Ramirez of Houston and Robyne Nikole Ramirez of Pharr; his mother Guadalupe Chavez Bermea of Alamo; and his siblings, Benito Bermea (Vicki) of Ohio, Guadalupe B. Escobedo (Julian) of Alamo, Maria Teresa Bermea of Alamo, Diego Bermea (Maria) of Edinburg, Bertha Bermea of Donna, Gloria Bermea Nixon (Jim) of California and Daniel Bermea of Alamo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
