It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June A. Meland of Pharr, Texas, born in Clark, South Dakota, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Green and Vina Green (Arbogast); her husband Willis Meland; her siblings, Louis Green (Joyce), Louise Remmers (Earl) and Joan Green; and her friend Bob Foster.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Meland (Randy) of Bristol, TN and Laurie Grimley of Brooklyn Park, MN; her grandson Joshua Grimley of Elk River, MN; and her great grandchildren, Brielle and Blake Grimley of Elk River, MN. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
