It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Romero (Pharr, Texas), born in Mission, Texas, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Francisco Romero Jr. (Noelia) and Fernando Romero (Alicia); her siblings, Pabla Garcia, Oralia Alvarez, Petra Rodriguez, Ramon Vargas and Hector Vargas; and her grandchildren, David Ralph Romero, Victoria Lyn Romero, Veronica Marie Romero, Isaac Romero, Christina De La Garza, Celina Romero and Deidra Rae Romero. She is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren.
