With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Haydee Herrera of Pharr, Texas, born in McAllen, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2020 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Zoe D. Herrera; her brothers, Hilario H. Bocanegra and Andres Bocanegra; and her parents, Andres Bocanegra and Mariana Bocanegra.
She is survived by: her children, Alonzo Herrera III (Cynthia Trevino), Efren Herrera (Linda), Lisa M. Herrera and Teodoro Trejo IV (Selina Adame); her grandchildren, Azaria R. Herrera (Robert Navarro Jr), Elissa A. Herrera, Brittany A. Herrera, Efren A. Herrera and Alonzo T. Herrera; her great grandchild Amari J. Navarro; and her siblings, Rolando Bocanegra (Susie), Jose Silvero Bocanegra (Seferina), Ana M. Flores, Leticia Bocanegra Ross (Donald), Miguel A. Bocanegra (Lori), Mariano Bocanegra (Estella), Blanca E. Garcia (Eloy), Adan O. Bocanegra, Xochitl Bocanegra, Minerva Alvarez (Servando), David Bocanegra (Patti) and Ana L. Palomares (Orlando). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great friends.
