She was predeceased by: her parents, Imelda Moreno and Manuel Perez; and her brother Pime Perez. She is survived by: her son Julio Casillas (Lesley); her grandchildren, Sofia Casillas and Alejandro Casillas; and her siblings, Victor Manuel Perez (Esther), Jose Gerardo Perez (Guadalupe), Joel Perez, Francisco Perez (Brenda), Itzcoalt Alvarez (Carolina), Alicia Perez, Ofelia Perez, Virginia Valesquez (Isidro), Estela Wojtas (Henry) and Rosalinda Ray (Junior). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Comfort House or American Cancer Society.
