He is survived by: his mother Adela Guadalupe Gonzalez Cantu; his wife Ana Elvia Patlan Cantu; his children, Brenda Cantu, Francisco Javier Cantu and Roberto Cantu Patlan; and his siblings, Blanca, Rosie, Elvira, Jose Luis, Jose Guadalupe, Benito and Benita.
