It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francisca Salazar of Pharr, Texas, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Guadalupe Salazar; her son Jose Guadalupe Salazar; her grandson Rogelio Omar Leija; her parents, Clemente Ramos and Refugia Ramos; and her siblings, Ramona Tapia, Ambrocio Ramos, Candida Fonseca and Eliberto Ramos.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Foreman, Ruben Salazar (Maria), Antonio Salazar (Vicki), Juan Salazar, Abel Salazar, Ernesto Salazar, Maria Isabelle Valle and Rosalva Salazar; and her siblings, Lupito Ramos, Matias Ramos, Rosa Alvarez, Constancia Flores and Juan Ramos. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren.
