It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felipe Escobar (Pharr, Texas), who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose and Enriqueta Escobar, Sr.; and his siblings, Guadalupe Escobar, Ramiro Escobar and San Juanita Ruiz.
He is survived by: his wife Magdalena G. Escobar; his children, Alma L. Garza (Joel) and Hector Felipe Escobar (Becky); his grandchildren, John Nathan Escobar, Patrick Escobar, Destiny Escobar, Aaron Escobar, Nicole Escobar, Austin Escobar, Celeste Garza, Daniela Garza and Ayesha Rivera; and his siblings, Cruz Diaz, Rosa E. Barrientes, Aurora Rodriguez, Jose Escobar, Rafaela Fernandez, Zoila Torres, Elvira Sanchez and Aviel Escobar.
