He is survived by: his wife Amelia Canche Ayala; his children, Clara Ayala Ramos (Ricardo), Sarah Ayala, Monica Ayala and Thomas Ayala, Sr. (Veronica); his grandchildren, Vanessa Luna, Miranda Dimas, Jonathan Villarreal, Erick Villarreal, Christian Candanoza, Thomas Ayala Jr., Aidan Ayala and Mychael Ayala; his great grandchildren, Alessa Gonzalez, Audrey Gonzalez, Emiliana Gonzalez and Addelina Rodriguez; and his brother Raul Ayala.
