With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmundo Cantu (Pharr, Texas), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Heliodoro Cantu and Estela Cantu; his sister Dora Cantu; and his parents-in-law, Saul and Guadalupe Ayala.

He is survived by: his wife Gilda Cantu; his daughter Ashley De Leon; his grandchildren, Aiden, Aerabella, Aaron, Andrew and Alfredo III; his siblings, Margie Garcia, Hector Cantu (Edith), Heliodoro Cantu Jr. and Ernesto Cantu (Cynthia); and his parents-in-law, Aroldo Soto (Clara), Deodeli Martinez, Ricardo Soto (Patricia) and Jessica Soto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
