She was predeceased by: her husband Eliseo Gaona; her children, Felipe Gaona, Sergio Gaona, Rebeca Gaona, Maria Gaona and Araeli Gaona; her parents, Gabino Gaona and Maria Gaona; and her siblings, German, Natividad, Talde, Alfredo, Ernesto, Elvira, Maria Transito, Saturnina and Irene.
She is survived by: her children, Bertha Rosas, Rosa Castillo, Aurora Halford, Cain Gaona, Efren Gaona, Jose Trinidad Gaona, Moises Gaona, Saul Gaona and Isidro Gaona. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
