He was predeceased by: his wife Guadalupe M. Soto; his parents, Leocadio and Cayetana; and his siblings, Arturo, Ernestina, Modesta, Alfonso, Elena and Julia.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Tijerina (Robert), Rogelio Soto (Petra), Aradelia Trevino (Benjamin), Norma Rodriguez (Jaime), Nora Garza (Enrique "Rick") and Esmeralda Gutierrez (Joel); and his brothers, Armando Soto (Dora) and Arnoldo Soto. He is also survived by eight grandkids; eight great grandkids.
