Alonso Benavides Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 88, Alonso Benavides (Pharr, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Alonso may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alonso touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonso Benavides and Juanita Benavides. He is survived by: his sister Juanita Garza (Janie). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aurora Funeral Home (706 W Sam Houston Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577). A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
