He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalinda Castillo and Frank Castillo Sr.; his brothers, Albert and Cruz Castillo; and his son Matthew Castillo.

He is survived by: his son Remigio "Mick" Castillo II (Shayna); his grandchildren, Tre, Victoria, Penelope and Amelia; his daughter Andrea Gomez; the mother of his children Theresa Castillo; his siblings, Cynthia (Juan Silva), Amanda Castillo, Frank, Damian and James Castillo; and his girlfriend Sabrina Ramirez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
