Nettie Pearl Marcus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nettie Pearl Marcus (Pflugerville, Texas), who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll Lee Marcus of Austin Texas; her parents, Dennis Albert Geneva and Ruby Victoria Geneva of McAlester, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Alice Lorraine Hammond of Jacksboro Texas, John Dee Geneva of Mabank Texas, Patsy Nell Weaver of McAlester Oklahoma and Dwight Dennis Geneva of McAlester Oklahoma.
She is survived by: her son Carroll Lee Marcus, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Terry Ann Marcus of Georgetown, Texas; her children, Terry Lynne Marcus of Cedar Park, Texas and Timothy Alan Marcus; her daughter-in-law Linda Marcus of Marble Falls, Texas; her son Bruce Avery Marcus of Cedar Park, Texas; her stepdaughter Carolyn Roberts Gross; her stepson-in-law Lonny Gross of Norman, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Quanah Joan Schlesselman (Steve Schlesselman) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Conny Lee Geneva (Lois Geneva) of McAlester, Oklahoma and Shirley Ann Burgess of Springtown, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1500 W Anderson Ln., Austin, TX 78757).
