She was predeceased by: her parents, Lelia Rae Benford and Ross Benford; her husband Waymon Crayton; her son Kevin Crayton; and her brothers, Ross, Audry Lewis and James Roland Benford.

She is survived by: her sisters, Mildred Taylor and Lavern Marshall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
