He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene A. Simons, Sr. and Gertie V. Simons; and his sister Linda M. Manor. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Simons; and his sisters, Sheila Simons of Austin and Zenobia Dorman (Austin) of Manor. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, in-laws, his mother-in-law, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
