She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Clark and Red Clark; her husband Cecil Van Kirby; her son Mark Alan Kirby; her grandsons, Michael Lee Kirby and Jason Wayne Erwin; and her great grandchild Zachary Michael Kirby.

She is survived by: her son Michael Van Kirby (Catherine Ann Kirby) of Smithville; her grandsons, Asa Shea Kirby (Christy Leger Kirby) of Austin and Matthew Alan Kirby; and her great grandchildren, Asa Beau and Mabel June Kirby.
