He is survived by: his wife Nova Goodwin Pierson; his children, Joy Felix (Anthony), Ruth Adams (John), Nanette Pierson and Charley Thomas Pierson (Bethany); his grandchildren, Logan Adams, Jared Felix, Natalia Felix and Evangeline Adams; and his siblings, Billy Pierson (Mandy), Dale Pierson (Grace), Danny Pierson and Esther Allen (Jerry).
