He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Vasquez Rios and Apolinar Rios Sr.; his siblings, Apolinar Rios, George Rios, Johnny Rios and Sally Salazar; and his nephews, Edward Rodriguez, Scott Goodwin and Zeke Mena Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rios; his children, Jennifer Rios Chavez (Diego) and George Rios (Josie); his grandchildren, Brandon Williams (Joli), Tiffany Rios, Benito Alvarado Jr., Leilani Rios and Eliana Rios; his great grandchildren, Natalie Williams, Izabella Williams, Xavier Williams and Elijah Williams; and his siblings, Olga Goodwin, Emilio Rios, Maryann Meraz, Joe Rios and Eva Wigley.
