Thiede; her siblings, Dean Thiede and Lynn Manlove; her mother Lois Thiede of Tuleta, Texas; her daughters, Kristina Gonzales (Ernesto) of Pettus and Elizabeth Henning (Benji Gibbs) of Anna, Texas; her sisters, Beverly Montez (Fidencio) of Tuleta and Amy Thiede of Tuleta; and her nieces and nephews, Chelle Caviness (Nate) of Bastrop, Amanda Montez of Tuleta, Ricky Manlove of Bastrop and Eric Montez (Krystal) of Beeville.
