With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Gayle Strickland of Petrolia, Texas, born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nelson Upton and Wilma Upton (Klein); her husband Vaughn; and her sister Judy Chapman. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Vaughn Strickland, James Michael Strickland (Kerry Ann Cannedy) and Kenneth Bryan Czerwinski (Jason Michael Czerwinski); her grandchildren, Jensen Lynn Strickland and Jerah Stanford; her great grandchildren, Carsen Channing McGregor, Watson Jack Wegmann and Jameson Beck Wegmann; and her brother Jimmy Upton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
