He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Medders and Nadine Medders (Dinnwiddie); and his siblings, Ronald Medders, Rodney Jr. Medders and Brenda Dunn.
He is survived by: his sister Rita Baxter (Glenn) of Wichita Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Medders and J. C. Dunn. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
