He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Alonzo and Etta Mylissa Poyner (Rowland); and his daughter Becky Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Martha Groves of Petrolia; his daughter Melinda Alexander (Hugh) of Petrolia; his son-in-law Buddy Alexander of Petrolia; his grandchildren, Lindy Alexander, Aaron Avens and Audrey Avens; and his siblings, Jesse Poyner (Sue) of Alexander, Arkansas and Peggy Harrison of Jasper, Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
