She was predeceased by: her husband A. L. McDaniel; her former husband Aubrey Shelton; her parents, O. C. Ware and Maud Ware; and her siblings, Eula Gilliam, Joanna Berry, Willa Rae Marrs, Margaret Swafford, Linna Stark, Pete and Homer Ware.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Shelton of Oklahoma City and Elizabeth Shelton of Petersburg; and her siblings, O. C. Ware of Crockett and Bett Smith of Abilene. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
