We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2022, at the age of 84, Joyce (Plainview) Hood (Petersburg, Texas), born in Dade City, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Smokey Thomas and Jessie Healea; her husband Hugh Hood; and her brother Bobby Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie (Dwight Kern), Nena (Steve Scrambling), Jan (Todd Measles), Shari (Scott Barnes) and Dawn (Kraig Bowen); and her brother Terry Matthews of Zephryhills, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family.
