She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Valdez and Zenaida Valdez (Flores); her spouse Meliton C. Quiroz, Jr.; her brothers, Jesse Jr. and Jose; and her sons, Daniel and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Amador (James), Richard Quiroz (Rose), David Quiroz (Carolina), Joseph Quiroz (Erminia) and Gregory Quiroz; her siblings, Joe Valdez (Connie), Ruth Burnias (Rick), Jane Valdez and Mary Garcia (Gilbert); her grandchildren, Emilee (Jason), Daniel, Ciara, Stephanie, Phillip (Cristyn), Matthew (Alondra), Emma, Madeline, Victoria, Kristi, Angelena, Jonathan and Jerry; and her great grandchildren, Brycen, Abigail, Makenna and Jamilee.
