We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2020, at the age of 68, Gary Carter in Petersburg, Texas, born in Clayton, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father D. E. Carter. He is survived by: his mother Martha Jean Carter of Clayton, NM; his wife Sara Carter of Petersburg; his children, Lisa Vaughn (Travis) of Petersburg, Deana Crump of Clarendon and Darrell Messer (Lori) of Gruver; his siblings, Roy Carter of Las Cruces, NM, Mary Jean Riddlespurger of Emory and Nancy Clute of Amarillo, TX; and his grandchildren, Matt Messer (Shanae) of Gruver, Miles Messer (Abbi) of Bryan, Mike Crump (Julie) of Canyon, Chris Crump of Matador, Kenlee and Kale Vaughn of Petersburg. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
