Lucy Elvira touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Lucy Elvira is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper David and Sally Vertie Copeland; her husband Lester J Schwalk; her sons, Bobby Schwalk and Larry Schwalk; and her son-in-law Gerald Strate.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Strate of Pampa, TX and Garry Schwalk (Peggy) of Angier, NC; her daughter-in-law Emma Lou Schwalk of Burleson, TX; and her daughter Glynes LaRue (David) of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Perryton, Texas (415 S Baylor St, Perryton, TX 79070).
