She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Redelsperger and Katherine Redelsperger; her husband Elbert Lavern Smith; her daughter Julie Elkins; and her grandson Cole Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Burress of Perryton, Texas and Bert Smith (Carol); her grandchildren, Brady Burress (Tawn), Melea Robison (Hiram), Kody Burress (Lori) and Liberty Smith (Linda); and her brother L. D. Redelsperger (Sue). She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
