It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Duane Wells of Perryton, Texas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Murlin Wells and Ruth Diller Wells; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Donna Helmuth. He is survived by: his wife Lora Helmuth of Perryton, Texas; his children, Ryan Wells (Audra) of Spearman, Texas and Keidi Mull (Jimmy) of Guymon, Oklahoma; his sister Shirley Wagoner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his brother-in-law Jerry Helmuth of Follett, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Mutt Hut Rescue, 207 S. James St., Spearman, Texas, 79081.
