It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Melvin Hash of Perryton, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Slim" Hash and Anna Mae Hash (Long); and his wife Davie Marie Hash (Whatley). He is survived by: his children, Daylin Hash (Tammy) of Caddo, Dayla Cates (Lance) of Canadian and Jim Boy Hash (Jessica) of Kendall, Kansas; his grandchildren, Kashlee Hash (Justin Eastwood) of Caddo, Kayla Williams (Kyle) of Indianola, Kade Johnson (Sergio Guadarrama) of Hudson, Jaylyn Hash, Jaytyn Hash of Kendall Kansas, Nathan Harbin (Jessica) of Ft. Worth, David Harbin (Shelby) of Caddo, Ashton Macias (Travis) of Canadian, Terra Jackson (Kannon) of Caddo and Colton Cates (Taryn) of Shamrock; and his great grandchildren, Treylin Henderson, Jadyn Eastwood, Kyler, Dexter Harbin, Karter Williams, Caisen Cates, Hazel, Lewis Macias, Kenzington Jackson and Oliver Harbin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
