He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Charlson and Juanita Charlson; his wife Judy; his son Chuck Charlson; and his brothers, Larry Charlson and Wylie Charlson.

He is survived by: his daughter Penny Graves (Robert) of Perryton; his grandchildren, Macy Graves of Perryton, Texas and Jaden Graves (Kayla) of Perryton; and his great grandchildren, Kobe Graves and Luke Graves.
