He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry G. Jackson and Marguerite Jackson; his sister Rev. Perrie Joy Jackson; his brother-in-law Rev. Tennyson McKinney, Sr.; and his nephew Tennyson Mckinney, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Robyn Jackson; his former wife Dorellyn B. Lee; his children, Jordan Essex Jackson and Dorellyn Marguerite Jackson; his grandson Dorian Jackson; his sisters, Gloria Mckinney and Beverly Jackson-Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie Mallard, Olivia, Victoria Mallard, Michael Broussard and Ricky W. Brown Jr.. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
