She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Bean and Virgie Alice Morrow; her siblings, Edith Jones of Geneva Hughes and Bubby Bean; and her grandson Keith Alvey.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Leon Wilson; her children, Debbie Alvey, Shelly Lindsey and Randy Wilson; and her sister Rosie Brewer of Christine Cantrell. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
